Between Lake Mendota and Lake Monona along the bank of the Yahara River, residents can enjoy access to both lakes all while being in the center of the legendary Madison Isthmus. Whether you kayak, canoe, or fish, you can walk right out your apartment and throw your line in the Yahara River, or leisurely make your way to Lake Mendota or Lake Monona not even a mile away to paddle around. Enjoy keeping your kayak or canoe in our storage center, and take it out whenever your free time allows. You don’t have to worry about an all-day outdoor-adventure as you can easily make your way back home, so you can take your visitors on a five minute drive, ten minute bike ride, or thirty minute walk to the capitol after enjoying a morning on the water.
