Unlike the fifties, Monty’s serves up vegetarian and vegan food too! Basically, the place used to be a Blue Sunoco gas station on the corner of Atwood Avenue and Division Street. The overhead was kept the same with an original gas pump placed out front to keep the design theme consistent and they overhauled the inside to be a picture-perfect time portal back to the fifties. The corner lot allowed them to add on a bunch of outdoor tables with umbrellas, so if the whole “cozy diner” atmosphere isn’t what you’re in the mood for, you can always kick it outside. Monty’s is likewise part of the Food Fight Restaurant Group, and you can read up on other local restaurants, too.
