Madison Area Technical College is great for any avenue of higher education. Madison Area Technical College receives the most amount of transfer students from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. At Madison Technical, you can receive training from leaders in the workforce, even if you want to transfer to a four-year university. With MATC, you can acquire the skills you need to successfully graduate and find a career in your field of study. MATC offers an expansive variety of careers to study with over one hundred eighty programs underneath eleven fields of study. You can pick between a certificate, technical diploma, or an associate’s degree. Even if you are unsure of what you want to do, you can always follow an “exploratory path” based on what classes and courses you find fascinating. This is a common choice as it allows you more freedom while still adding credits towards a degree. The best part is being able to take classes at your speed thanks to adaptable course choices.

Affordable Tuition

MATC prides itself on some of the most economical tuition costs in Wisconsin but understands not everyone has the same financial standing. A lot of students that attend MATC are eligible for financial aid, and you may qualify too. It is strongly recommended to try and receive a scholarship from Madison College as well as apply to various programs provided by Madison College, such as Scholars of Promise. Madison College wants to see you shine, and that is why if you’re serious about school, they are dedicated to assisting you with your tuition.

Flexible Education

If you just graduated from high school, took a few years off from school, have kids at home to raise, or even if you flew in from a different state or country, Madison Area Technical College has students from all backgrounds. If moving to Madison isn’t an option for you, you can always attend classes at their Fort Atkinson, Portage, Reedsburg, or Watertown locations. You can even choose to get your education online! The instructors at MATC have first-hand, real-world experience to teach you from that will prepare you for any career you choose to pursue. Most of the instructors at MATC have gone on to receive their Doctor of Philosophy in their respective fields and even teach at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. No matter where you end up receiving your education from, the instructors at MATC care about one thing; your success.
