Syovata Edari spent fifteen years as a trial lawyer. Her love for chocolate kept her moving forward through the long days and tough nights as a single mother. In 2014, she decided to turn her passion into her profession. While initially using CocoVaa Chocolatier to get people in the door for her law firm, the business became a huge hit in 2016.

From the Kitchen to the Across the Globe

Her passion has led her to many places all over the world most people couldn’t dream of visiting, such as L’Hermitage, France and Lecco, Italy. After studying underneath some of the greatest chocolatiers alive, she made up her mind; she wanted to be a Tastemaker. She started with humble beginnings scheming how to make this dream a reality.

Taking a Chance on Chocolate

Two years later, she committed to the void and threw her savings and her retirement at her first building. Flavor is rather difficult, as it combines both senses of taste and smell while also adding in the texture of what you’re eating from when you first touch it, to placing it in your mouth, and how it breaks down as you chew. Each one of Edari’s chocolates can stand alone and tells the tale of where she’s been and what she’s gone through. Edari seeks to share her life story with others through her marvelous chocolate wonders.
